This policy explains how editionkix.org handles editorial content, copyright, attribution, correction requests, and reports of alleged rights infringement. editionkix.org, available at https://2010.neurogena.net, publishes information in the public interest about investigative journalism, including reporting by established newsrooms, nonprofit investigative organisations, public authorities, courts, and other identifiable sources. It is intended to support accurate, accountable discussion of matters affecting Anguilla and the wider region.

This page is a publication policy, not legal advice. Copyright and related rights can depend on the place of publication, the location of the work’s creator, contractual rights, database rights, moral rights, and the facts of an individual case. A report will therefore be assessed on the information provided and under the legal framework applicable to the material and the parties involved.

1. Editorial purpose and the public interest

Investigative reporting can concern public decision-making, government expenditure, corporate conduct, organised crime, environmental issues, public safety, cross-border activity, and other matters of legitimate public importance. editionkix.org seeks to present such subjects carefully, with a clear distinction between verified facts, sourced allegations, analysis, and unresolved questions.

Publication in the public interest does not remove the need for accuracy, fairness, lawful use of material, or respect for the rights of others. This policy does not establish a statutory counter-notice procedure. A person who believes that material was removed, restricted, or amended in error may nevertheless write to [email protected] with the relevant page details, an explanation of the alleged error, and supporting information. editionkix.org may reconsider the decision where the information justifies it. Nothing in this process prevents a party from pursuing rights or remedies available under applicable law.

8. Misrepresentation and abuse of reports

Copyright and content reports must not be used to suppress accurate reporting, criticism, commentary, lawful quotation, fair dealing or other lawful use, or public discussion merely because it is unwelcome. Deliberately false, incomplete, deceptive, repetitive, or bad-faith reports can interfere with editorial work and the rights of readers, authors, and sources.
